UKRLP API (United Kingdom Register of Learning Providers)

Overview

The UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) is a list of organisations registered with the Department for Education. This includes training and learning providers and other organisations that need a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN).

UKPIMS Integration API

A field-level reference for consumers of GET /api/providers. Definitions are based on the current contract, controller, repository mapping, SQL and automated tests.

Who can use this API

This API is aimed at any stakeholder, partner or interested organisation or entity that requires a feed of data across the DfE's data consumer stakeholder groups.

Service level

The service is intended to be available at all times. Outages would be targeted for remediation within three days. Maintenance periods may be required.

Technologies

Authentication methodologies will require both string based authentication (available from the user's FAUAPI management screens following successful sign-up) and ability to use session based OAuth bearer token authentication.

Interoperational access uses RESTful and data is available as JSON
